Get in, we’re gonna save the world.

Fashion is killing us.

And quicker than we know. The fashion industry is the second largest contributor to water and plastic pollution, and 85% of clothes ends up in a landfill or burned.

Where Fashion Waste Goes

Sustainability

To save the world, we have to save the environment. At MIYOSHI, we’re doing what we can to run as sustainably as possible. That includes:

  • Almost all the material we use is secondhand, organic, or recycled. We strive to use every bit of fabric we have. To keep waste low, almost all garments are made to order.

  • We commit ourselves to using ecofriendly packaging. This includes decomposable Poly mailers, designs printed with non-toxic ink, and recyclable papers and materials. You can read more about our packaging here: Sustainable Packaging Company | Sustainability | Arka

  • Every month, we will donate 10% of purchases to a different environmental organization or cause. Come back later to check out this month’s organization.

Ethics

At MIYOSHI, we believe that it is best to run our business in an ethical manner. We will continue to practice and fight for basic human rights for all, fair wages, and safe working environments.

  • Although we don’t have any employees (yet), we pledge to pay all of our future employees a fair and livable wages with benefits. For now, we will fight for basic human rights for all and for everyone to be paid a wage that they can live comfortably on.

  • We will choose a different organization or cause to donate 10% of our profit to. Check back later for this month’s organization.
